Mystique Professional Services: A New Chapter in Sponsorship Marketing and Public Relations

After nearly two decades in Jamaican media sales, sponsorship, broadcasting, and business development, I’m bringing all of that experience together under one business: Mystique Professional Services.

Mystique helps entertainment and herbal wellness brands secure sponsorship partners and build visibility through public relations.

The business was registered back in 2017, but honestly, its foundation goes back further than that. It started on the sales floor of VYBZ 96.3 FM in Westmoreland.

That’s where I learned the basics of selling advertising and sponsorships, what actually makes a brand say yes, and the thing that matters most: real business relationships only work when both sides are getting genuine value.

From there, it was IRIE FM, East 96.7 FM, and FIT FM. Media sales, sponsorship strategy, business development, broadcasting, finding sponsors to cover programming costs. Different stations, same skill set, and it all kept building.

Now, nearly two decades later, it’s all come together in Mystique.

Two Areas, One Purpose

Mystique works across two connected areas: Sponsorship Marketing and Public Relations.

On the sponsorship side, I help entertainment and herbal wellness brands, events, and projects get ready for sponsors. That means packaging opportunities properly, understanding what value looks like for a potential sponsor, and connecting with brands that actually have a reason to partner.

On the public relations side, I help entertainment and herbal wellness brands tell their story, prepare for media opportunities, and build the kind of visibility and credibility that gets noticed.

The two go hand in hand more often than not. A good sponsorship proposal is not enough on its own. It needs a story behind it, a credible brand, and enough visibility to make a sponsor pay attention. And good PR does a lot of that heavy lifting. It builds the visibility and credibility that make the sponsorship conversation easier in the first place.

Built From Experience

Mystique isn’t just another marketing services menu. It comes from years of seeing both sides of these deals:

Sponsors that need to understand what an event or project is actually worth to them, and brands that need to understand what they have to offer in return.

Both sides need clear communication, proper preparation, and a real reason to believe a partnership makes sense. That’s the gap Mystique fills.

About the Founder

Mystique Professional Services is founded and owned by me, Gillian Larmond. I bring nearly two decades of Jamaican media sales and sponsorship experience to every client relationship, including several years as a radio broadcaster at community radio stations here in Jamaica.

Mystique is the next chapter of that journey: pulling together sales, sponsorship, media, PR, and relationship-building experience to help entertainment and herbal wellness brands go from “we have an opportunity” to a professional presentation that actually connects.
